Shown at De Ontdekking, Fort Maarsseveen, Maarssen, Netherlands, 28.06.2026 until 31.08.2026, an outdoor group exhibition.
In our effort to keep things “real” we often move to a level of abstraction far from reality. In the past year, several of my works have revolved around artificial nature, and recreating objects in change in more permanent materials and forms, and freezing them in time. This frozen state allows us to explore their shape in detail, but also in isolation. Born from a fascination with our obsession with capturing short moments, preserving our surroundings, and our experiences within them. Made largely with hand tools.
