Turning from the remnants of a tool used for reminders and notes, to the remnants of a party, without a big climactic moment but slowly over time. Sticking to your shoes and perhaps following you home.
Sometimes, you spend the entirety of a party waiting for its peak, only to realize that it might never happen, or perhaps it already did. You return to your notes to remind yourself of how you got there, only to find them blank.
